Educated Rongotai Intermediate and Rongotai College, 1St XV 1960-63. A very fit, lightweight (l3st 2lb, 6 feet) flanker. Graham Williams became aregular member of the Wellington team in his first year out of school. Toured Britain with the 1967 All Blacks appearing in all four internationals and scoring six tries in nine games — a total equalled only by Ian Kirkpatrick among the forwards. In 1968 he toured Australia, playing in eight matches including the 2nd Test. Surprisingly, he did not play for New Zealand again although he continued to represent Wellington until 1976, appearing on a record 174 occasions for that union. Works as a Company Director for the family Motor Firm Williams & Adams.
